Can I Privately Get Aroperty Guardian to Live in My Commercial Property for Security Purposes?

I own a freehold on a commercial property. I would like to get someone to live in it, for security purposes, like a property guardian. No money will be exchanged and I will continue to pay bills, rates, etc. Can I do this, or is it only legal when it is done through camelot, adhoc. Property gurdian companies.

Suggestion:

only problem i see is it is probably not zoned residential if it's commercial property. probably not to code as a residence. if so, you should have no problem.
